Visiting the Museum Burda
Since October 2004 Baden-Baden has got a new special attraction: The internationally renowned Collection Frieder Burda located in a modern museum built by the New York architect Richard Meier. The Collection concentrates on Classical Modernism and contemporary art and now encompasses almost 550 paintings, sculptures, objects and works on paper. Wednesday evening, 23 September 2009, we will be offering you an exclusive tour from in the museum`s actual exhibition , “Der Blaue Reiter” (the blue rider) with famous works the german expressionists Marc, Macke, Kandinsky, Münter and Jawlensky. Information about the museum and recent exhibitions may be found in the Interne (See right column for further details). The rest of Wednesday evening is free - to meet other congress participants, for example.
